Marovoya ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Marovoya mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. You may also choose to provide a profile photo.

Trip Data: Trip itineraries, saved places, expenses, and preferences you create within the app are stored on our servers to sync across your devices.

AI Conversations: When you use the AI Guide, your questions and the AI responses are stored to provide conversation history. We do not use your conversations to train AI models.

Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage statistics (screens visited, feature usage) to improve the app. This data cannot identify you personally.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the app's features (trip planning, AI guide, offline maps)
• To sync your data across devices when you're signed in
• To enforce usage limits (e.g., free tier AI message limits)
• To send transactional emails (account verification, password reset)
• To improve the app experience based on anonymous usage patterns

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure (AWS, EU region). We use Row Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure you can only access your own data. Authentication tokens are stored using secure device storage (Expo SecureStore).

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase: Backend infrastructure and authentication
• Groq: AI language model for the AI Guide feature
• RevenueCat: Subscription management and in-app purchases
• Resend: Transactional email delivery

Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing their use of data.

5. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@marovoya.com, and we will delete your data within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your trip data
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing

7. Children's Privacy

Marovoya is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
